Appliances: Disconnection & Connection
We offer appliance disconnections and connections for a fee of $7.50 each. So, to have a washing machine disconnected and connected, a total of $15.00 will apply. If you need to buy new connections for your appliances, be sure to check out Home Depot to find what you need.
Washer
The movers will disconnect and connect the hoses and the electrical cord for the washer. Please be sure that your washer is empty prior to the crew’s arrival on moving day. In the event that you have a front load washer, and you have the bolts to secure the drum, please have the bolts available to the crew upon arrival.
Dryer
The movers will disconnect and connect the vent and the electrical socket for the dryer. Please be sure that your dryer is empty prior to the crew’s arrival on moving day. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist with the disconnection and connection of gas dryers. You should contact a plumber or handyman to disconnect your dryer prior to the crew’s arrival.
Stackable Washer & Dryer
The movers can provide service to transport stackable washer and dryer units. A fee of $50.00 will apply which includes unstacking the units for transport and stacking the units again at the destination. Please be sure that the units are clear of clothing upon the arrival of the crew.
Refrigerator
The movers will disconnect and connect the ice maker line for the refrigerator. Please be sure that your refrigerator is empty and ready for transport upon the crew’s arrival. In certain situations, the refrigerator doors may have to be removed in order for it to be transported. A fee of $25.00 applies for removing and replacing the refrigerator doors.
